Our Story - The Rodents
Let’s blur the line between costume and closet.
We’re two students — one into a BFA in Character Animation (Visual Development), the other juggling a BA double major in Creative Writing and Film Production (with an acting minor and a flair for dramatics). Together, we’re building more than a store. There’s more about us later on.
But for now: This is where all our favorite things collide: storytelling, sketchbooks, nostalgia, park mischief, and the kind of vintage that feels more lived-in than old.
Some of our designs are cheeky. Some are just soft and strange, even sincere. All of them come from that very specific feeling — make wearable daydreams. To honor the magic and make fun of it.
We make what we love, the way we’d wear it.
We’ve been to Shanghai Disneyland more times than we can count — thanks to an international study abroad journey. That and a deep, possibly unhealthy, love of Mickey-shaped snacks, we’ve park-hopped our way through Hong Kong, Shanghai, California, Walt Disney World (we gave up counting & because we tallied up back when it use to be - not expensive. Ish), and even set sail on a Disney Cruise.
One of us did the Disney College Program, which absolutely did not help the obsession. And at this point, we’re basically certified Disney product creators… except for the small detail that we’re not. (Don’t tell Mickey.)
Fluent in English, French, and Mandarin — we speak the language of magic in three time zones, & got lucky enough to translate for Disney while a CP at the parks.
Still to go: Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney. We’re coming for you.
Thanks for being here. It means everything to us.
Long live the weirdos, the daydreamers, and the ones who know the odds and ignore them anyway.
